I work on the Engin-X beamline at the ISIS neutron source, measuring residual stress. After a mixed experience at Manchester, I now get a wonderful assortment of science and engineering problems coming my way, often from Manchester.
Also, if Brian Derby gets a blog, then I do too. And you won't find me dissing the inimitable ZX Spectrum. Actually 'inimitable' is probably exactly the wrong word to use if you include emulators.
